Bahia Princess Hotel, Cost De Adeje, Tenerife, Spain

submitted by Wayne and Mary from Scotland

This hotel has 279 rooms and a 4 star rating

We just cannot fault this hotel - okay it has a few steps but there are lifts if you feel like you cannot manage them.

The hotel is situated in a nice area but not too far away from the busier areas if you wish to stroll 5 minutes down towards the sea where there are a few bars and good eating places.

The food in the hotel is excellent and all the staff are very kind and thoughtful and all of them seem very happy to be part of such a friendly hotel.

If you can get a sea view on the 1st or 2nd floor these seem to be the best rooms for the sunshine late afternoon as what we like to do is to relax with a drink or 2, watch the sunset, and watch the early diners on their way to the restaurant.

We have found the best time to go for dinner is between 8 and 8:30, then watch the evenings entertainment, and if we do not feel like watching whatever's on, then just
a short walk and there will be something to suit anyone, I would think.

We booked through Thompson and asked for a low floor and a double room which we got.

The only problem was it was on the ground floor, level with the pavement.

It was a grand room but 50% of the room was floor to ceiling glass - it was just like being in a fishbowl.

We had a panoramic view
