Hotel Castillo, Huatulco, Mexico
This is a small family run hotel in 2 parts.
The main hotel has plenty of room - a pool area, dining rooms - you access the other part by a bumpy old open top bus which will keep on running until everyone goes to bed.
If you are in a large group, it is better to book your trips and ask for a mini bus - take my word for this. you will get a better deal than going on the coach - a guide and a helper to get you on and off as often as you want them to stop.
Go by taxi to the local town - here you will see old world, but stop and look at the sides of the road, how much they have done for people in wheelchairs. By far more than here at home in the UK.
Please don’t be afraid to ask for assistance as they are more than willing to help.
If you stay in room 104, note that the shower is different - this took the hotel staff just 15 minutes to change for me while I was stopping there as I felt I was up against the firing squad every time I took a shower.
While in town, go to the tipsy blow fish - be prepared to be eaten alive by the dog.
